Weather the Storm was selected to progress into the semi-finalist round for the 2019 Risk Theatre Modern Tragedy Competition. It was among 11 plays selected from 182 entries. Unfortunately, it did not progress onto the finalist round, but I am grateful for the opportunity presented to it. Many thanks to the team at Risk Theatre!
Weather the Storm is sailing away to the US!

I am excited to announce the development of a new play, Fool’s Paradise, which will premiere this August at the Victoria Fringe Festival.
The show is a historical drama based on the early life of Julie d’Aubigny, a French opera singer and swordsmaster. D’Aubigny was notorious for her colourful lifestyle, leaving such an impact on her contemporaries that she inspired many stories and much gossip in her lifetime and afterwards. It is said that she once fell in love with a nun and conspired to rescue her from the convent by stealing a body from the morgue, placing it in her lover’s room and setting the room on fire.
The play is a 60 minute one act, with an all-female cast of four. Blue Elephant Theatre will be holding auditions in late May, so please stay up to date with their twitter feed or Facebook page for further announcements.
